Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: March 2, 2026 · Last Updated: March 2, 2026
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Rankrize platform, including all AI content generation, SEO research, publishing, and related features (collectively, the "Service"). This AUP supplements and is incorporated into the Rankrize Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict between this AUP and the Terms of Service, the more restrictive provision shall apply.
Rankrize is an AI-powered SEO blog autopublishing platform that generates and publishes content on behalf of its users. Because our Service produces content at scale using artificial intelligence and automates publication to users' websites, responsible use is essential — both to maintain the integrity of the platform and to ensure that content published through Rankrize meets ethical, legal, and search engine quality standards.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.
2. Prohibited Content
You must not use Rankrize to generate, edit, store, or publish any of the following categories of content. This applies to all content created through the Service, whether published automatically, published manually, or saved as drafts within the platform.
2.1 Illegal Content
Content that is illegal under applicable law, or that promotes, facilitates, instructs, or encourages illegal activities — including but not limited to fraud, theft, trafficking, money laundering, terrorism, or the manufacture or distribution of controlled substances.
2.2 Hate Speech & Harassment
Content that promotes hatred, violence, discrimination, or harassment against any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic. This includes threats of violence, intimidation, bullying, and content designed to demean or dehumanize.
2.3 Sexually Explicit or Exploitative Content
Sexually explicit material, pornography, or content that depicts or promotes sexual exploitation. This prohibition applies regardless of whether the content involves real individuals, fictional characters, or AI-generated depictions.
2.4 Intellectual Property Infringement
Content that infringes, misappropriates, or violates any third party's intellectual property rights, including copyright, trademark, trade secret, or right of publicity. You must not use Rankrize to reproduce copyrighted works without authorization, create content that is confusingly similar to trademarked brands, or generate material that passes off another party's work as your own.
2.5 Misinformation & Disinformation
Deliberately false, misleading, or deceptive content created with the intent to deceive readers, manipulate public opinion, or cause harm. This includes fabricated news, conspiracy theories presented as fact, deepfake-style textual impersonation, and content that misrepresents scientific consensus on matters of public health or safety.
2.6 Impersonation
Content that impersonates or falsely claims affiliation with any real person, company, organization, government entity, or public figure — unless you have explicit written authorization to create content on their behalf. This includes creating content that falsely implies endorsement by or association with a third party.
2.7 Dangerous Activities
Content that promotes, instructs, or encourages dangerous activities, including but not limited to self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, drug abuse, weapons manufacturing, explosives creation, or any activity that poses a serious risk of physical harm to any person.
2.8 Unauthorized Professional Advice
Content that presents AI-generated information as professional medical, legal, financial, tax, or therapeutic advice. While Rankrize may be used to generate informational or educational content in these domains, such content must include appropriate disclaimers making clear that it does not constitute professional advice and that readers should consult qualified professionals for their specific situations.
2.9 Malware & Phishing
Content designed to distribute malware, viruses, ransomware, or other malicious code. Content that facilitates phishing, social engineering, credential harvesting, or any form of cyber attack. This includes generating deceptive emails, fake login pages, or content designed to trick users into revealing sensitive information.
2.10 Content Targeting Minors
Content that targets, exploits, or endangers minors in any way. This includes content that seeks to collect personal information from children, content that is sexually suggestive involving minors, content designed to groom or manipulate minors, and any content that violates the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) or equivalent laws in other jurisdictions.
3. Prohibited SEO Practices
Rankrize is built to generate high-quality, search-engine-optimized content that follows white-hat SEO best practices. You must not use the Service to engage in any search engine manipulation tactics that violate Google Search Essentials (formerly Google Webmaster Guidelines) or the equivalent policies of other major search engines. Specifically, you must not use Rankrize for:
3.1 Keyword Stuffing
Artificially inflating keyword density, inserting hidden keywords, or manipulating generated content to include unnatural keyword repetition beyond what serves the reader. While Rankrize optimizes content for target keywords, you must not override or manipulate this process to produce keyword-stuffed output.
3.2 Cloaking
Presenting different content to search engine crawlers than what is shown to human visitors. You must not use content generated by Rankrize as part of a cloaking scheme, nor configure your website to serve Rankrize-generated content selectively to search engines while displaying different content to users.
3.3 Link Schemes
Using Rankrize-generated content as part of manipulative link-building schemes, including but not limited to: link farms, private blog networks (PBNs), excessive reciprocal link exchanges, paid link insertion without proper nofollow or sponsored attributes, or any other practices designed to artificially inflate PageRank or domain authority.
3.4 Doorway Pages & Thin Content
Generating large volumes of low-quality, thin, or substantially similar pages created solely for the purpose of ranking for specific search queries rather than providing genuine value to readers. Each article generated through Rankrize should serve a distinct user intent and provide substantive, useful information.
3.5 Content Without Human Review
Publishing AI-generated content at scale without any human review or oversight. While Rankrize automates content creation and can auto-publish to your CMS, you are responsible for establishing a review workflow — whether that involves reviewing individual articles before publication, spot-checking published content regularly, or configuring Rankrize's quality thresholds to ensure only high-quality content is published automatically. Fully unmonitored, unchecked bulk publishing is prohibited.
3.6 Content Spinning & Cross-Domain Manipulation
Using Rankrize to generate spun, paraphrased, or substantially similar versions of the same content for publication across multiple domains or websites with the intent of manipulating search engine rankings. Each piece of content should be original and tailored to the specific site and audience for which it is generated.
3.7 Deceptive Site Purpose
Using Rankrize-generated content to misrepresent the purpose, nature, or authority of a website to search engines or users. This includes using AI content to make a site appear to be an authoritative source in a field where it has no genuine expertise, creating fake review sites, or building sites whose sole purpose is to monetize search traffic without providing genuine value.
3.8 Other Search Engine Violations
Any other practices that violate the published guidelines of major search engines, including Google Search Essentials, Bing Webmaster Guidelines, or equivalent policies. If search engines update their guidelines to prohibit additional practices, those prohibitions are automatically incorporated into this AUP.
4. System & Platform Abuse
You must not engage in any activity that compromises the security, availability, or integrity of the Rankrize platform, its infrastructure, or other users' experience. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
4.1 Unauthorized Access
Attempting to access, view, modify, or delete data belonging to other users, workspaces, or accounts without authorization. This includes exploiting vulnerabilities, bypassing access controls, or using credentials that do not belong to you.
4.2 Reverse Engineering
Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to derive the source code, algorithms, prompts, model weights, or underlying technology of the Service. This includes attempting to extract, reconstruct, or replicate the AI prompts, content generation pipeline, quality scoring algorithms, or SEO intelligence logic used by Rankrize.
4.3 Scraping & Automated Extraction
Using automated tools, bots, spiders, scrapers, or any other automated means to access, extract, download, or collect data from the Service beyond what is provided through the intended user interface and authorized APIs. This includes bulk-downloading generated content, keyword research data, SERP snapshots, or any other data stored within the platform.
4.4 Circumventing Limits
Circumventing, bypassing, or attempting to defeat any usage limits, rate limits, content generation quotas, plan restrictions, or other technical measures implemented by Rankrize. This includes manipulating API requests, spoofing identifiers, or exploiting bugs to exceed your plan's allocated resources.
4.5 Unauthorized Resale or Redistribution
Reselling, sublicensing, redistributing, or white-labeling the Service or any component thereof without prior written authorization from Rankrize. You may not offer Rankrize's content generation capabilities as part of your own commercial service to third parties unless explicitly permitted under a separate agreement.
4.6 Infrastructure Interference
Interfering with or disrupting the Service's servers, networks, databases, or infrastructure — including denial-of-service attacks, resource exhaustion attacks, injection attacks, or any activity that degrades the performance or availability of the Service for other users.
4.7 Multiple Accounts & Restriction Evasion
Creating multiple accounts, workspaces, or identities to circumvent account-level restrictions, evade enforcement actions (such as suspensions or bans), exploit free-tier limits, or otherwise manipulate the Service beyond its intended use. Each individual or organization should maintain a single account unless explicitly authorized otherwise.
4.8 Credential Sharing
Sharing your account credentials (email, password, session tokens, API keys) with unauthorized third parties. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you need to provide team access, use the workspace member invitation features provided by the platform.
4.9 Competitive Use
Using the Service, or any data, content, insights, or outputs obtained through the Service, to build, enhance, train, or operate a product or service that competes with Rankrize. This includes using Rankrize-generated content to develop competing AI content generation tools, benchmarking the Service for competitive analysis, or using the Service to reverse-engineer Rankrize's content strategies for use in a competing product.
5. Content Quality Standards
Rankrize employs automated quality scoring, editorial guidelines, and publish-threshold gates to help ensure that generated content meets high standards. However, the ultimate responsibility for content published to your website rests with you. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Human Review Responsibility. You are responsible for reviewing all content generated by Rankrize before it is published to your website or shared publicly. Even when using auto-publish features, you must periodically review published content to ensure accuracy, quality, and appropriateness.
- Accuracy & Appropriateness. You must ensure that all content published through the Service is accurate, truthful, and appropriate for your target audience. AI-generated content may contain errors, outdated information, or hallucinated facts — it is your responsibility to verify factual claims before publication.
- Legal & Regulatory Compliance. You must ensure that all content published through the Service complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in every jurisdiction where your content is accessible. This includes advertising regulations, industry-specific content requirements (e.g., HIPAA for healthcare, FTC guidelines for endorsements), and consumer protection laws.
- AI Disclosure. Where required by applicable law, regulation, platform policy, or industry standard, you must properly disclose that content was generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence. You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with AI disclosure requirements in your jurisdiction and industry.
6. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any content or activity on or through the Rankrize platform that you believe violates this Acceptable Use Policy, we encourage you to report it promptly. Reports help us maintain the integrity and safety of the platform for all users.
To report a violation, please email us at rankrizeio@gmail.com with the following information:
- A description of the content or activity you believe violates this AUP.
- The URL(s) or location of the content in question, if applicable.
- Any supporting evidence or context that would help us investigate.
- Your contact information so we may follow up if needed.
We review all reports and will take appropriate action as described in Section 7 below. We may not be able to share the specific outcome of our investigation with the reporter, but we take every report seriously. Rankrize will not retaliate against any user who reports a violation in good faith.
7. Enforcement & Consequences
Rankrize reserves the right to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP and to take appropriate enforcement action at its sole discretion. Enforcement actions may include, but are not limited to, the following — applied individually or in combination depending on the severity, frequency, and nature of the violation:
7.1 Warning
For first-time or minor violations, we may issue a written warning via email, notifying you of the specific violation and requesting immediate corrective action. Warnings will describe the offending conduct and the changes required to return to compliance.
7.2 Content Removal
We may remove, disable access to, or prevent publication of any content that violates this AUP. Where content has already been published to your website via the Service, we may revoke the integration connection or disable auto-publish functionality until the violation is resolved.
7.3 Temporary Suspension
We may temporarily suspend your account, specific features (such as content generation or auto-publishing), or your access to the Service entirely for a defined period while a violation is investigated or while you take corrective action. During suspension, you may not create new accounts to circumvent the restriction.
7.4 Permanent Termination
For serious violations, repeated violations after warning, or any violation that poses a significant risk to Rankrize, its users, or third parties, we may permanently terminate your account and all associated workspaces without prior notice. Permanent termination includes the deletion of your account, removal of all generated content from our platform, and revocation of all integrations.
7.5 No Refund
If your account is suspended or terminated due to a violation of this AUP, you are not entitled to any refund of fees paid, including prepaid subscription fees, content generation credits, or any other charges. All fees are forfeited upon enforcement action for policy violations.
7.6 Law Enforcement Referral
Where we reasonably believe that a violation involves illegal activity — including but not limited to fraud, child exploitation, terrorism, intellectual property theft, or cyber attacks — we may report the violation and share relevant account information with appropriate law enforcement authorities without prior notice to you, to the extent permitted or required by applicable law.
7.7 Sole Discretion
All enforcement decisions are made at Rankrize's sole and absolute discretion. We are not obligated to provide advance warning before taking enforcement action, particularly in cases involving serious or imminent harm. Our decision to take or not take enforcement action in one instance does not constitute a waiver of our right to take enforcement action in other instances.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update or modify this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, legal requirements, industry standards, or enforcement practices. When we make material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' prior notice before the changes take effect. Notice may be provided by:
- Sending an email to the address associated with your account.
- Displaying a prominent notice within the Rankrize dashboard.
- Posting the updated policy on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any updated AUP constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Service before the updated policy takes effect. We encourage you to review this AUP periodically to stay informed of your obligations.
